Career and Technology Studies (CTS)

• BCHS offers a comprehensive Career and Technology Studies Program in a technologically equipped facility.  The strands (courses) available to students will provide an opportunity to acquire and develop the knowledge and skills for use in a technologically oriented world.
• Students taking CTS strands (courses) will develop basic and transferable career specific knowledge, skills, and attitudes.  Students may select strands (courses) in preparation for post-secondary education in universities or technical institutes, career specific entrance into apprenticeship programs, or for general interest.
• The successful completion of each module earns one high school credit towards the Alberta High School Diploma.
• All successfully completed modules are tracked and documented in the student’s mark history.  As the student completes additional modules, the mark history is updated.  The modules identified in the marks history is upgraded.
