Earn up to 40 High School credits working as an apprentice in one of 50 different trades that will accept students in the Registered Apprenticeship Program.

The program starts July 1 of each year and continues through the fall semester. Students return to the classroom for the spring semester. Positions as an apprentice are made by an industry-sponsored organization called careers A complete list of all assignments due BEFORE placement can be found at http://bchs.spschools.org/Online/RAP1.HTML . Once placed by the 'Careers' organization, the Bellerose Composite High School Work Experience Coordinator monitors the student. Five high school credits are awarded for every 125 hours of work as an apprentice. Application Forms must be handed into the school Work Experience Coordinator. After successful completion of 125 hours at the work site, the student may then apply for their apprenticeship contract.

Health Care Internship Program

Earn 5 High School credits for each 125 hours working in the Health Care Internship Program. The program starts July 1 of each year and continues through the summer months. Students return to the classroom for the fall semester. Positions as an intern are made by an industry-sponsored organization called careers Once placed by the 'Careers' organization, the Bellerose Composite High School Work Experience Coordinator monitors the student. Application Forms must be handed into the school Work Experience Coordinator.
